Hi, I just want to know if some change have been made in the Hindu marriage law in India. I have heard that the minimum age for a girl to get married is reduced to 16. If this is true where i would get the notification for the same?

Are the Canadian Churches required by law to perform homsexual marriage ceremonies?

Kelly R asked:
Do they have a choice or not with the adoption of gay marriage laws? Are they able to still choose whom they may marry or not in their religious ceremonies? What freedoms if any have been lost by churches to your knowledge? No guesses please just law or facts only.

Is the Canadian government not only dictating doctrine to churches, but to religious schools, and to individuals? How? I realize that there have been some hate speech law suits but what does the law state?

Can I file for a marriage license and a domestic partnership at the same time for health plan coverage?

Kevin N asked:
My partner and I have filed for a marriage license in San Jose, California. It was suggested to me by my work supervisor that we also file as domestic partners to get my partner onto my health plan coverage, which has language that covers domestic partners but not same-sex marriage. Can this be done and, if so, how does one go about it?
