My husband and I eloped last year in June 2009 unbeknownst to our family. We are now going to have an official ceremony this June with a licensed wedding officiant. We do not want anyone to find out that we are already married. What would happen if the officiant at our wedding sent in our official wedding certificate to our Colorado State county clerk’s office? Would it simply be rejected? Or is this a crime? If you have any information please let us know!!! Thank you.

For some reason, we forgot to get the pastor performing our ceremony the wedding license so he can sign it. Will our marriage be voided?
So even if we never return it, we will still be married?

On my marriage license I said my father was born in Illinois. I believed this was correct, but I later found out he was actually born in Iowa. Does this matter? Do I need to notify the county clerk or take any other action?

We have the marriage license, but I never got an official certificate. My parents have one and I just wanted to know if TX does them, the county office made no mention (and they closed early today)

Thanks
