I was baptized as Baptist about 5 years ago. I was married by a clerk of the court, which I know the chruch doesnt recognize. However, i got divorced a few years ago and I will be converting to catholic and when I get married again I would like to get married in a catholic church. Do i need to have the church annul my previous marriage? Will I be allowed to marry in a catholic church?
