    I believe you would first have to apply for permanent residency (green card) in the US. Here’s the info from USINS.

    Once the appropriate paperwork is filed, you can obtain permanent residency status. An overview is here:

    If that link does not work, go to . Then under Green Card select Green Card Through Family. Then select Green Card for an Immediate Relative of a U.S. Citizen. That will explain the process, and on the right hand column, you will see links to the relevant forms (I-130 and I-485).
