Solemnizing are own marriage by ourselves. By getting a marriage license and filling it out. Then mail it back to the county office and clerk in record. In Boulder Colorado. ??
Isn’t that the way the law is written in Colorado state? As long as you have a marriage license. You do not need a judge or a priest to do the ceremony. Anybody can may marry anybody even a friend could do it, a neighbor could do the service.

I believe that there a place for someone who’s authorized to perform marriages to sign, yes? I wasn’t married in Colorado, but where I was married, someone authorized by the state to perform marriages was required to sign.

Ceremony: A marriage may be solemnized by a judge of a court of record, a public official whose powers include solemnization of marriages, or in accordance with any mode of solemnization recognized by any religious denomination or Indian nation or tribe. As of August 1993, a couple themselves can solemnize their own marriage.

Like most states, there must be some sort of public declaration, in front of witnesses. The preacher or JP merely acknowledges that the declaration took place. If it is important enough, take 20 minutes to find and read Colorada statutes on the subject of marriage ceremonies. If it is not important enough to do that, then just keep asking for baseless opinions on this site.
