Marriage licence?

Ok how does this work in the state of FL? Do i apply for a marriage licence and then take it to the priest and once the ceremony is over, he mails everything and we’re officially married? OR do i get married by the Catholic church and then they fill out all the paperwork and then we get our marriage certificate in the mail? Is it faster to get the licence 1st and take it to the priest?

It is faster to apply your self and let the priest send the paper work in for you. Look at your county circuit court’s web site, they will have some info.
